Faria in Ventura is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf that can work throughout the year. It performs best when a southwest swell pairs with offshore winds from the northeast, producing both left and right-hand waves, often driven by distant groundswells. While the spot is generally mellow, it can get a bit crowded when the surf is up. Surfers should remain cautious, though no specific hazards were noted. The best time for clean, rideable waves typically occurs in winter, with January offering the most reliable conditions despite summer being favorable for general surfing.
