The spot tends to receive distant groundswells, with the ideal swell direction from the south-southwest. It remains rarely crowded, making it a great option for those seeking a quieter surf session. Summer, particularly August, offers the most consistent clean waves with light offshore winds. Surfers should be cautious of sharks in the area. Optimal conditions occur when a south-southwest swell aligns with northerly offshore winds.
