πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Port Blanc in Brittany is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. The beach break favours right handers. Sometimes crowded. The best conditions reported for surf at Port Blanc occur when a West-southwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the East. The best time of year for surfing Port Blanc with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is during Spring and most often the month of March.
