πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Pointe du Toulinguet in Brittany is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent surf, though summer months tend to be mostly flat. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the east, receiving an equal mix of local windswells and distant groundswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers and offers good surf at all stages of the tide. As a fairly popular wave, it can sometimes get crowded, and surfers must be extremely cautious of dangerous rips. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in April.
