L'Ile Aux Vaches – Lervily in Finistere, Brittany, is an exposed point break with inconsistent surf, particularly during the summer when it tends to be flat. It performs best with a west-southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, receiving an equal mix of local windswells and distant groundswells. This is a remote spot where crowds are never an issue, though surfers should take care of rips and undertow. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in May.
