Les Roches Blanches in Finistere, Brittany, is an exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right, with summer often being flat. It performs best with a west-northwest groundswell and offshore winds from the south-southwest. The spot receives most of its surf from groundswells, and crowds are very rarely an issue. Hazards include rocks, and the most consistent clean waves typically occur in winter, particularly in October.
