Gwendrez Right in Finistere, Brittany, is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that only works sporadically, with summer months often remaining flat. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the northeast, receiving a mix of local windswells and distant groundswells. The break specifically offers right-handers and is best around mid-tide. Crowds are very rarely an issue here, though surfers should watch out for rocks. The most consistent clean waves typically occur in winter, particularly in February.
