📍 Local Knowledge

Pantai Ujung is a sandy beach-break located on the eastern coast of Bali, Indonesia. The surf tends to be most reliable during the local dry season, roughly April through October, when consistent swells and lighter onshore influences prevail. East to southeast swell directions generally work best, especially with offshore winds from the west or southwest helping to shape cleaner waves. Incoming to high tides often provide the better form. Waves are mostly mellow to moderate peaks, offering both lefts and rights that suit longboarders, intermediates, and smoother-styled surfers. Crowds vary but are often moderate, and surfers should be mindful of shallow sandbanks and occasional shore break hazards.
