📍 Local Knowledge

Nusa Dua is an exposed reef break in Bali's Bukit region that is often working and offers both left and right-hand waves. The peak surfing season is the wet season, from November to April. The most favorable conditions are a south-southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the west. The break works best at mid-tide when the tide is falling. When the surf is on, crowds are likely, and surfers should be aware of rips and rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in January.
