πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Jasri Beach is a reef-break on Bali’s east coast near Candidasa, known for its long right-hand waves breaking over a reef. Its best season is during the dry season, roughly April through October, when swell consistency is higher and onshore wind interference is reduced. The break favors southwest to southeast swells, with early morning west or northwest winds offering the cleanest conditions. Mid-tide tends to bring out the best wave shape, especially when swell is above average. Waves at Jasri range from mellow rollers to more powerful peeling sections, making it suitable for intermediate surfers; beginners may find some sessions manageable on small days. Crowds are moderate, and hazards include sharp reef bottoms, tricky entry/exit over rocks, and strong currents.
