Consistency is moderate — it doesn’t fire as reliably as major Baja Sur spots — and local ratings describe it as fickle and only working a few times a year when swell wraps in from the west or south, though quality on those days can be fun for intermediate surfers. The break performs best with offshore winds from the southeast to east, which help groom the wave faces, and is not typically crowded due to access challenges and its more remote location.
