πŸ“ Local Knowledge

La Mision in Baja Norte is an exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf, especially in winter. It works best with a northwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, typically receiving distant groundswells. The break offers both left and right-hand waves and is rarely crowded, even when the surf is good. The best conditions are found in winter, particularly in January, when clean, rideable waves are most common. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
