πŸ“ Local Knowledge

La Fonda in Baja Norte is an exposed point/rivermouth break with very consistent surf, especially during summer. It works best with a southwest swell and offshore winds from the east, typically receiving clean groundswells. The point break offers left-peeling waves, and the best conditions are found around high tide. The spot can sometimes get crowded, and surfers should be cautious of dangerous rip currents. The best time for consistent, clean waves is in summer, particularly in July.
