K-55 1/2 in Baja Norte is an exposed point break with very consistent surf, working year-round. It works best with a west swell and offshore winds from the northeast, typically receiving distant groundswells. The break is a left-hand point break and is rarely crowded, even when the surf is good. The best conditions are found in winter, particularly in January, when clean, rideable waves are most common. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
