Casas is an exposed reef break that usually offers rideable surf with waist‑to‑shoulder high waves when swell energy is present and generally sees fairly consistent conditions compared with nearby spots. The break performs best during summer, when southwest swells are more common and lighter winds help the waves hold cleaner shape, and it can be surfed across a range of tide levels. While not typically crowded, surfers should be mindful of rocks and reef hazards in the lineup. The best month to surf Casas for consistent and clean waves is July.
