πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Campo Lopez (K-55) in Baja Norte is an exposed beach and reef break with very consistent surf, especially during summer. It works best with a southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, typically receiving distant groundswells. The break offers both left and right-hand beach waves, as well as a left-hand reef break, and is surfable at all stages of the tide. The spot is rarely crowded, and the best conditions are found in summer, particularly in October, when clean, rideable waves are most common. Surfers should be cautious of submerged rocks in the area.
