📍 Local Knowledge

Cabo San Quintin in Baja Norte is an exposed reef and point break with fairly consistent surf that can work year-round. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the northeast, typically receiving distant groundswells. The main break is a right-hand reef wave, and conditions are most reliable during winter, especially in January. The spot is very rarely crowded, but surfers should be cautious of rocks and sharks in the area.
