Punta Conejo in Baja Sur is an exposed point break with dependable surf that can work year-round, featuring a notable left-hand point break. It primarily receives distant groundswells, with the ideal swell direction coming from the southwest, and performs best with offshore winds from the northeast. The best conditions are reported when a southwest swell combines with a northeast offshore wind, producing clean, rideable waves. The spot is rarely crowded even when surf is up, but surfers should remain cautious of local hazards. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during winter, especially in December.
