Monuments in Baja Sur is an exposed point break known for very consistent waves, particularly during summer when conditions are optimal. The break is a left-hand point that works best with offshore winds from the northwest and groundswells coming from the south–southeast, performing best around mid tide. It’s a popular spot that can get crowded, so surfers should be cautious of rips and rocks. The most reliable clean, rideable waves typically occur in summer, especially in May.
