Rodiles-Main Beach in Asturias is a fairly exposed beach break that offers fairly consistent surf, with summer providing the most favored conditions. This spot primarily favors right-hand waves produced from consistent groundswells; while it is best surfed around a rising high tide and offers some shelter from east winds, visitors should be mindful that it is often crowded enough to be dangerous. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southwest offshore winds, with January being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
