Playa de Xagó in Asturias is an exposed beach break that offers very consistent surf and works all year round. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from an equal measure of windswells and groundswells; while it is surfable at all tidal stages, visitors should be mindful that overcrowding can make surfing here hazardous when the surf is up. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
