📍 Local Knowledge

Playa de Vidiago in Asturias is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that offers reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it delivers good surf at all stages of the tide and is rarely crowded, visitors should take care to avoid submerged rocks. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southeast offshore winds, with February being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
