📍 Local Knowledge

Playa de Salinas in Asturias is an exposed beach break that usually has waves and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves primarily from groundswells; while it is surfable at all stages of the tide and very rarely gets crowded, visitors should be mindful of potential crowds and water pollution. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
