📍 Local Knowledge

Termination Point in Kodiak Island, Alaska is a sheltered reef break with inconsistent surf that works best under specific conditions. Ideal waves occur when a northeast swell combines with offshore winds from the southwest. Both groundswells and windswells can generate surf here, with waves breaking both left and right. The best time for clean, rideable conditions is during winter, particularly in January. Although the spot is rarely crowded, surfers should watch out for strong rips.
