πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Terry’s Cove in Alabama is an exposed sandbar break known for its fairly reliable surf, especially during hurricane season. The best waves occur when south-southeast swells align with offshore winds from the north-northwest. While windswells are more common, occasional groundswells can enhance conditions. The break offers consistent surf across all tides and can get crowded when it's firing. Hazards include strong rips and sharks. Winter is typically the best season for clean waves, with February being the standout month for quality surf.
